This week on Crop To Cuisine, we hear from moe. Well, not the entire band. But Al Schnier, guitarist, keyboard and vocals for the band shares his thoughts on the local food movement. He also tells us about their participation in Farm Aid 2008.

We also talk with two people on the scene in the Denver metro area, doing what they can to help ordinary people choose local when possible. Sandy Cruz is the founder of High Altitude Permaculture. She herself lives above 9000 ft. She's in the studio giving tips on how to extend the season and ensure you can have well preserved food through the dormant months.

And we talk with local superhero, Mitch Alexander. Mitch is also known as The Green Fooder. He started a business out of his home, providing a wide range of locally grown, produced, and raised foods to every day folks. He's developed strong relationships with some of Colorado's best farmers, and wants to bring their bounty to you. Only on Crop To Cuisine.

To get more information on the pueblo chile, or how to support your local food system, go to www.croptocuisine.org. I'd like to know how you experience your food.
